So guys, after the success of the Flickr thread, we all had some lovely new interactive followers and found interesting new people to follow.

So, following that, I thought about all the bloggers, Facebookers, Twitterers etc and thought it would be good to get more interactive followers across all platforms!

The idea is I will post my links to the ones I use, then if you are on them, and you are interested, follow me, then post yours and I will follow you on the platforms I use.

Sound good? It's a nice way to get photography minded people following, sharing and boosting traffic.

I came, I looked, I.... err... didn't know what to do?!?
I'm just bunging my old family snap-shots up on F-B so distant relatives & friends of friends who may have never seen them (Probably 20+ years ago) get a chance, though.

However, my photos are rubbish and I tend to upload absolutely everything there, so it's a bit of a dumping ground.

Need to get more strict with what gets uploaded I think.

I've just created a facebook page a few days ago. It's a bit sparse right now, most of it's back-catalogue duplicates from Flickr for now. I think with the FB, I'll be more selective, gearing toward what I think others may like, rather than (like Andy above) dumping any old tosh as I do on Flickr :D It'll be selected tosh lol.

Facebook is more the sort of place for family & friends. I don't usually accept friend requests from people I don't know on there. There's an option to 'follow' people but I don't post much public stuff there that would be of any interest.

Google+ and Twitter I'd say are the places you want to be to follow people with similar interests.

Google+ especially. If you think no one you know uses it, then yes that's usually true but that's the beauty of it. It's not friends and family, it's people of interest. Just create a photography circle and search for stuff to put in it. You also have very easy privacy controls.
