well maybe i can be of [a little] help 
i am putting on 2 rock concerts in oxford with 4 bands each night.all hand picked by me from the bands ive seen over the last few years so they are all very good unsigned bands [some should be].
i will be running it how i like,good music,good people and a friendly atmosphere
friday 30th october
saturday 5 december
both are small sweaty venues with variable lighting.
but allways on the limmit of what your equipment can handle without flash.
fancy pro zooms arent much use you need a fast 50mm and your fastest wideangle.
the guests list full but if anyone wants to come down and take some pictures for their portfolio your more than welcome.as audience members there will be no restrictions,no 3 numbers no flash i hate that.
so take pics all night if you like and as long as you dont dazzle the singer use flash.though i prefer the look without its your choice.
i maybe too busy myself to take pics but i can give hints/tips if you want and will move the lights around if neccesary to help you.
as i said my way lights,soundmen,ticket collectors etc. all choosen from people ive met and helped previousley.
i am inviting a couple of young photographers ive met and helped at other gigs as well so its going to be fun.we dont normaly have rivalry here amongst the photographers.
