Yes
I see a lot of user names with bike names or letters in them. So what do you ride? I'll start
Triumph Daytona 600, pre reg 04 but I bought new from a shop I worked for in 2005. Done about 14000 miles on it, which is bad cos I used to 10000 a year on previous bikes before I passed my car test. Been riding since I was 16, 35 now.

Do I qualify with riding a quad bike:rolleyes:? It's a Yamaha Raptor 700R. Had it since new from 2009 but it wasn't road legal. It wasn't till two years ago I got a kit for it and made it road legal. Great fun in all seasons but it's still better suited on the rough stuff. I've always been a bit too short from motor bikes.

Kawasaki ZRx1200s with added crip bits (Kliktronic gear shilft)

Triumph TT600 and a 1971 500cc Triumph T100R Daytona. Also in the process of putting together a 200cc trials Tiger Cub for off-roading (as and when money and the wife permit).

Triumph Spoken Here

I bet its worth quite a bit more than £400 now isn't it?. Rd-lc's have quite a following as I understand

Yes mate not sure exactly what it's worth as I'll never sell it but it's quite rare now I don't see many two strokes now
it's great fun to ride its not that fast but definitely feels fast when you ride it:)

I rode the aprillia rs125 once for a test ride where I used to work. Yet it wasn't fast but it was great fun. You can nail um round corners.

I sold all my lc`s only got left wrapped up in the shed a 1978 RD400 e one day I might rebuild it maybe

Can I play?

Although I haven't ridden a bike in a few years now.
I started out on a BSA Bantam, that I "renovated"
Talk about rapid!
That one fifty cc single pot would beat any push bike any day of the week :D

I went through quite a few, over the years,
The last one I owned as an XS 850 yammy, in two tone red.

I've often thought about a more modern bike from time to time.
but I guess I prefer my creature comforts too much now.

Although a "Blast" on a mates fireblade awhile back.
came close to making re-think that stance :D

I used to do a lot of miles on big road bikes but seem to have gradually slipped out of finding enthusiasm to make time for it the last couple of years.
I have a Yamaha BT1100 that I still like a lot and do not want to sell.
Last year I bought a Honda CRF250L for trails and it has been fun.
I seem to have more time for riding in the winter months these days and the new bike is well suited to it rather than the heavy road bike.
It will be an embarrassment when the BT1100 MOT comes around next month as I doubt it has done 500 miles.

As far as I recall, wasn't the RD the one where you had to rev it to something like 4,500 before anything happened and once you hit that magic figure it was 'hold on to your hat' time.

started on a yam 90 crunch and finished on a ZX9R funny enough in Red :) neck problems meant I could not ride for more that half an hour and have keep me off bikes for a few years but hoping to get a supermoto next year just to mooch around on :nailbiting:

I have a lovely 2008 Triumph Speed Triple, but I have also lost a little enthusiasm for riding of late. Don't get out anywhere near as much as I should or would like. My dad has a 2004 Bonneville which I love taking out now and again.

Bike history...

Yamaha R6 (silly stupid first bike)
Aprilia RSV Mille
Ducati 749s
Yamaha R1
Triumph Speed Triple (current).

Disappointing thread has lacking photos :(
Good point. Straight of Photobucket, not edited... I don't think anyway

Taken in 2007 (before I really got into photography)

Taken 2012. Me and my kids. Taken by the wife. We were looking towards the sun hence funny looks from the kids

I remember many years ago looking at a mint 400 E for £500 to this day I regret not buying it but I just didn't have the money

This thread has got me reminiscing. Haven't ridden a bike for nearly 20 years, but here's my bike history more or less.

Honda SS50 (immediately wished I'd got the Yam FS1)
Yam RD200
Triumph 750 export Bonneville (got pinched)
Triumph Tiger 100
Smashed my left leg badly while riding pillion. 3 ops. and 18 months on crutches.
Solution - a sidecar to put my crutches in.
Result - Cossack Ural. (Great fun 'till it snapped the crank on the M1)
Semi chopped AJS 350 (I loved that bike)
Triumph 6T
Moto Guzzi T3
Suzuki GS1000s (probably the best bike I ever had)
Yam 750 Virago
Yam XS1100 hardtail lowrider (just awesome and wish I had kept it)
Another GS1000
There might be one or two others, but I really don't remember much about the '80s.

I have a triumph Daytona 675 'r'. Bought it this year and love it. :) Had a suzuki bandit 's' before. Here is a pic of the Daytona. Taken on iPhone :)

currently on a 1200 bandit, been riding29 years, lots of great bikes.lots of greater memories, left knee is playing up a bit lately so long rides are a bit painfull and tucking up on sports bikes is impossible :(

its cause when i first posted i didn't put up a pic then i went in and edited one in instead :)

I have a 2009 GSX650F that I used for rides to Coast with other half. Now that's up for sale with a baby on the way.

I also have a 2010 GSXR 750 which I just love and want to get more time on the track with it.

Honda CB50J

Kawasaki ZX636 Ninja

YBR 125 for me so not technically a biker  but I blooming love it, can quite happily do a 260 mile day trip to the coast, I have been out a few times on a Diversion 600 and don't get me wrong it was very enjoyable but I couldn't warrant a big bike for what I mainly use one for, the 125 is dirt cheap to run dirt cheap to keep and it is perfect for knocking around the City.

big bikes are lovely to look at though, and the Wife has said that when the kids have upped and gone she could see us getting a nice tourer for weekends in the lakes etc.

Triumph Street Triple 675 R (white)

Not got photo's though...

1998 CBR900RR FartBlood - needs headstock bearings replaced
1986 BMW K100RS - needs MOT

I have all the tools and parts I need to sort them both out and I also have the time but frankly I'm struggling for the inclination.

Passed my test in 1990 and couldn't afford to run a bike and a car, always needed a car for work until 2001. The list of bikes below is in order of ownership, insurance on the XJR benefited from my holding a licence for 10 years despite not having ridden anything :)

2000 Yamaha XJR1300
2002 Aprilia Falco (only vehicle I've ever bought new and only because it was heavily discounted as the new colours were due out)
1999 Kawasaki ZX-7R
2006 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (awesome bike, the one I should have kept)
1985 Kawasaki GPz750 (project I did nothing with until I sold it for what I paid, buyer had it running in less than 2 hours)
2003 BMW R1150GS Adventure
1993 Honda CBR600 (track bike, again bought as a project and sold after I'd done nothing with it in 3 years)
1996 Yamaha YZF750R (bought from a mate who needed some quick cash, rode it twice, hated it, sold it back to him once he'd sorted his issues)
2002 Honda VTR1000 SP-2 (in white, my dream bike, I loved it but I got too precious to ride it properly so had to sell - bloke who bought it wrote it off 6 months later)
