I've really been thinking about getting back out there with the camera, but i don't know where i can go or where there is anywhere good in Norfolk.

Well, it don't really have to be in Norfolk now as i have got the car sorted and everything :) I don't mind sleeping in the car so getting back isn't an issuse.

Does anyone know where there is any good places to go?

Go and buy some 1:25000 OS maps of your area. They show up every little detail. Pour over them looking for interesting areas and go and shoot them. This is what I did when I was out in Hertfordshire. Found loads of interesting places and areas I'd never have known about otherwise :) Even if they don't turn out to be great photo opportunities it's still great to discover all the nooks and crannies of your locality.

How do i know if there 1:25000 OS maps? absulute cluless on that sort of stuff

Long walk short pier

Sandringham is in Norfolk. Must be something to photograph there. In the gardens there is a buddha and father time (grime reaper type)????? Cromer is a nice fishing town to visit - I don't know about photo opportunities there. What are the lavendar fields doing at this time of year????

I suppose that was no help at all:shrug:

What that jabba you on about? no that bit didn't help atall

Sandringham is a pain in the back side because once the people see you have a camera they follow you around.

Didn't go anywhere TW :(

Oh yeah i am going to Trax next week so will hopefully get some photos there :)

To go with the obvious: The Broads? Big area I know, but some of the bigger towns can even do day hire on small motor boats. I can't remember how far away Potter Heigham is from Hickling broad, but Hickling is a big nature reserve. There's a couple of boat yards there too that might do day hire on boats to get you closer to the wild life :)

Thanks ChrisMClark

I know Potter Heigham, it's where we got our boat from last year :D but i can't but a image to Hickling broad. Will have to hit the web and find some postcodes there and stick it in the satnav and have a drive over there one day
