...Christmas list? Photographically obviously.

I'm going to be wanting the Cokin Filter system (Having bought myself one filter from P-E on here I figure I'd best get on and get the rest of it!). Am also considering either asking for a better tripod (A Manfrotto 190 seems to be top of the list) or for the external battery pack for my flashgun.....My Christmas present to myself will be the 70-200 f2.8 I hope.....fingers crossed!

What size filters are you looking for? Hitech do some very good ND graduated ones which are 85x110mm and so work on quite a wide range of lens...

Ermm... a flash gun and whatever my lecturer says I need for my photography course :)

Cokin P System....I've got one ND grad and will be looking for the rest of those....will probably stick with my current Hoya Circ Pol as it's a 77mm thread anyway and so will fit both on the 70-200mm (as and when!) and on my current favourite landscape lens that it's permenantly fitted to - the Tamron 19-35mm. (That lens was such a bargain and I love it now!).

dont forget to check out the fantastic bargains that can be had in the shop when it comes to christmas!

personally i think......hmmmmmm......the ipod i ordered 2 weeks ago would be nice, and perhaps a new camera

'm still waiting on a birthday present yet, so won't hold my breath for Christmas just yet...

I don't have a Christmas nor Birthday wishlist. I much prefer giving than receiving. My wife hates it when Christmas or my Birthday approach because I always say "Nothing" when I'm asked what I'd like, then she has to pass the same reply onto her parents etc.

Well, if your in the mood for giving........I'll take a 1d mkII as a pressy of you

On a serious note, I think I have all I need on a photography note. If I had more space at home a set of studio lights would be nice.

Ive been writing my Christmas list up lately, i stopped when I hit my visa card limit, the more expensive items on the list will be ordered when I find out how much my Xmas bonus is or isnt.

So far on the list, not all Photography based.

Canon Rear Drop-in Circular Polariser (ordered)
Canon Rear Drop-in 52mm Screw Filter adapter (odered)
Set of 52mm Filters (ND, Grad ND, StarEffect) (ordered)
Canon 5D
Canon EF 16-35F2.8
MiniMac
MacbookPro
Another Macpro :cuckoo:
Lowepro PhotoTrekker
Logitech G25

Forgot about my other present to myself....

Either an MG BGT or Mazda MX-5, unsure which atm.

Dear Santa,
I'm not greedy like all these people on TPF. All I want for Christmas is one thing.

1) The only winning lottery ticket for the National Lottery Christmas draw.

Thank you very much.

Oh, I've been a really good boy this year too! :D

Kamion

This is difficult for me because I can't really ask my wife for a hefty large purchase (L glass or something) because not only do we have joint finances, I've already had a 30D this year.

That said it's my 30th birthday on the 6th of January, so I think I can ask :D

On a more realistic note, I've asked for Martin Evenings book - Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Photographers.
I might also ask for a new tripod.

Probably BG-E3 battery grip and 430EX flash.

1/Manfrotto 190 Pro Tripod
2/20" TFT Monitor
3/Peace on earth
4/More time

Nothing on mine as we're too poor

Misses wanted a 5 bedroom house, Marriage and Kids. :(
Thinking about it its about time i got somat back :)

Think maybe a sigma 18-50 2.8 lens

We are talking the REAL Santa, are'nt we.... ....so a f1.4, which is L (or even L+) quality, 28-400mm, IS, light as a feather, fits easily into my smallish camera bag and isn't that awful grey colour! (it just screams "i'm expensive, come and mug me"). Oh yes, and as my other half might have to help Santa out a bit, financially, is less that £500.

I had been hinting at a Bigma but I've just 'accidentaly' bought some watercooling kit for the PC of ebay so .........:'(

I would like a Canon 135mm L F2 lens but in reality I need to put the money towards a new carpet for my hall, stairs and landing.

I'm treating myself to a new mountain bike, either a Kona Caldera or Kula so it's not all boring :)

An external flash would be nice but I'd also like to do a course on portrait photography too but you don't tend to find oo many of them up here in rural northumberland.

Id like to do a portrait course too, Kev.

Think a tripod might be top of my list, but I start getting confused when it comes to heads, guess I need to read up first.

We just ordered our Christmas present which is actually just to make processing pictures easier it is ...

a Mac Pro!

yeah I can't wait till it is delivered.
