Enfield, Canning Town ... locals out in streets to protect their homes and businesses. About 80 out at the moment expecting a few hundred more to join them through the night. Mix of ages and races.

Well if it means that people are free to carry on their business without fear of it being trashed, that people aren't in fear of being burned out of their homes and vigilantes aren't wandering the streets :shrug:

Had the police chopper out and about earlier, a few sirens ( blues and twos)
are still going off intermittently but its fairly quiet on that front now.

Sure I know. but it would be like accepting the blackmail. we don't do that for good reason right.

The home office need to look at the organised instigation as the ignition point ..not the end result seen on our streets.

This isn't random riots, its organised gangs, the young people spotting is just exaggeration, most of those arrested are in their twenties.

Dispose of the effectiveness of the power of suggestion. .. remove their power…

To be honest, I would lock none of them up. Everyone convicted of this mindless violence and destruction, should be sent over to Iraq and can be human shields for our brave soldiers over there. If they survive a 6 months tour I would class them as being suitably punished. But then again the courts will probably give then 100 hours community service.
