So the local village show was on today...

My other entries didn't get anything, but 1 out of 5 isn't too bad I suppose. Also most of the other prizes went to two blokes I know from the local photography club, so fair game to them. Some of the judging was a bit erm... weird though. Some prizes were handed out to pictures that I thought were nothing short of terrible. Technically not good and aesthetically not good. But I suppose this is what happens when its all judged by one person, not a panel. But anyway, thats a moot point because.. I won

Congratulations Alasdair, they are truly stunning photo's.
I have some prints being entered in our local show tomorrow (Monday). I got 3 prints done at 15x10in only to find out that they prefer smaller prints, was told that 6x4in was ok.
I am now entering 6 catergories with 9x6in pics, call it a compromise.
Well done again mate.
