I've been following THIS on both DogLost and Facebook for 3 weeks now, it's been great how people have pulled together to try and find Barney
but it seems the outcome is not looking good :(
 
Does not make sense, shot and then stolen?

Hope the dog has not come to any harm :( . Anyone harmed my dog, or anyone else's and I witnessed it, there would be trouble :bat:

No it doesn't does it, and no reports of it being seen by a vet either.
If it was shot for any legit reason it should have been reported to the police, just hope something
is found out soon for the owners sake :(

Just re read it again, and it still makes no sense. The Police say he was a valuable dog, but he was shot then stolen :thinking: But they say blood was found, so that in itself does not look good :(
 
Just had a thought, maybe someone tried to steal the dog, and maybe the dog went for them. So they may have then shot him! Poor Barney, he looks lovely as well. Hope he has not come to any harm :(
 
If he was lose he would have run apparently so who knows, the only reason I can think of is if livestock was involved, but as I've said
it should have been reported that a dog had been shot unless the person doing it has something to hide

Took my Staffie for her night walk about an hour ago. She is so friendly and loving , could not bear anything to happen to her !

Not looking good.
The owners must be really upset :-(
