hello, just joined up today to assist in my photography challenges.

Decided to purchase a Dslr and learn photography so sorry in advance for any stupid questions.

1st query would be do you all use Adobe Lightroom or any other types of format?

As I said I'm a newbie as well

Yes I use Lightroom rather than photoshop or other various editors (or what ever they called!)

For me I've just found Lr to be more friendly towards my lack of editing skils, without destroying my original image, how ever naff that may be....

At the end of the day, I'm a firm believer and I think most of the forum are as well, That no question is a silly question if you don't know the answer......

So the day has come my Nikon d5300 with lenses has been delivered. Test shots, YouTube where to start !! Any way taking it out tomorrow for some practice. To watch the boy play football. Probably take some stick from the other parents but no worries.
