Now – Here’s a stroke of luck!

Some time back I sold my studio flash equipment because I didn’t think I’d get the opportunity to use it again, and didn’t want it to just gather dust. The buyer decided he didn’t want it, and claimed it was not working, so I had to refund it, and arrange for it to be collected. Once more it sat in our warehouse. I was nervous about using it, not wanting to blow up my DSLR, as I can’t afford to replace it. So have asked for a Wein voltage regulator for my birthday.

Just tested it, and it all works perfectly! – I am so glad I didn’t manage to sell it.

This set up is not perfect I know, I need to practice setting up studio lighting again. This was shot with a brollied main light and a snoot for the hair lighting. A very quick test set up to check exposure.

Use a radio trigger.

The Yongnuo ctr301 can apparently handle quite high trigger voltages.
