Playing football.
Would have been a BEAUTIFUL goal had I not stepped on the ball, twisted my ankle so hard that it clicked (loudly), landed arse first onto the ball, bounced 2ft into the air, before landing on my back and shouting expletives in agony :p

I've got 4 holidays booked for the summer, all of which require me to be able to walk, and so I'm super chuffed that it's not fractured, because all the signs were pointing to a fracture.

Any recent injuries for any of you guys?

yep, 4 weeks ago was rushing down some stairs at work, slipped fell from the 5th step from bottom and landed on concrete floor on my kneecap, yes it did hurt, but as an act of a miracle nothing broke!, i still have got a full length pot on though to keep my knee, ankle and leg straight.

I hasd bruised my elbow making it almost impossible for me to write with, not good right at the beggining of my exams. Although it has all healed now and its all good :D

Reason of bruising. Biking down a hill. Didnt really calculate how close me arm was to the sign post and WHACK it bloody hurt!

sprains are sometimes worse than breaks foodpoison I'm affraid to say.

I'd get it Xrayed again in a couple of weeks just incase; mine was only sprained according to the hospital, low and behold fracture dislocation that I'd put back in myself when I grabbed it initially then I'd been walking round on for the whole time

It's not that we're not sympathetic... but did anyone get any pics?

sorry... couldn't resist. Hope it's feeling a bit better soon.

cheers

Oh damn... Thanks for the vote of confidence!

I'll take it easy, if it still hurts in a few weeks I'll get it x-rayed again.

It's a long wait to get it x-rayed "just to be sure".

:shake:.....sprains

worse than breaks, ankles always seem to be susceptible to doing the same thing again, once you've had a good sprain, and with less reason the second...third...fourth....time round.

happy git aren't I

tainted through experience :(
