This is my first post on here for a rather long time, but this forum has always served me well in the past so I thought I'd ask. My current photo-editing laptop is on the point of death, and I need something new. My budget is around £900, I could stretch to £1,000 at the very most. Now I can get a very nice, powerful desktop PC for that with a lovely IPS monitor, fast processor and a decent graphics card. However, I'm mainly a motorsport photographer, so being mobile is a bonus. I'm struggling to find a decent laptop that meets my needs within my budget. Can anybody recommend a decent, powerful laptop for under a grand?
 
Thanks a lot. Some of those laptops look excellent for the money. I only work down the road from OverClockers as well. Have you used any of their own brand laptops before?

Ordered my PC on the 2nd. Still waiting for the computer :( I'm sure it'll be brilliant when it arrives :)

yeah I know they are always busy as hell, they must be something right.
 
I sent an email yesterday 2 days ago and received a reply yesterday saying that they'll either it it into production yesterday or today. It's still in Pre production as of now. So..... I sent another email this afternoon. Hopefully they'll tell me whats going on tomorrow. I'm not right happy about waiting weeks on end until I get the pc
