Noted. Tbh I referenced him as he seems to cover several makes and models. As usual other sources are available and personally I tend to use a pdf version of the canon manual for my own camera.

I still have a D50 in my collection and occasionally take it out it’s a very capable camera and it’s captured some of my favourite image.
stick with the lens you have for the time being and don’t be tempted to just add lenses to your kit exploit all the possibilities of that lens and you will soon find out if you need something wider or longer.
that is the time to look at a additional lens :)
I really hope you get as much enjoyment as I have had from mine over a number of years.
