so i got round to changing my website

I really like the design, but on my tablet (using Firefox) I can't see any was to contact you through it which would be an issue.

Very much liking the design, but as above, needs contact info, but another issue on chromium on my mbp - the homepage thumbnails across the middle, I can only see the very top of them, if I go to the gallery link, then click back button on browser, they are there, but if I refresh the homepage, they all but disappear again. No idea if its your end of mine, just letting you know what I see. ;)

Ah very good in that case, mind me asking what you designed it with?

Just curious as one day I might do that myself for fun (I'm no pro)

Given what Yv posted I tested my other tablet browsers and I saw the same issue on puffin, silk and dolphin browsers, but Firefox was fine.

A few points that struck me during a very quick visit:

Not a fan of the double scrollbar in the galleries, looks messy and makes the page move oddly.

"Photoshoots" seems like an odd title for a category. Surely most things you do can be counted as photoshoots.

I'm not a fan of showing EXIF data, makes it look like you're posting on a gearheads' internet forum, not your business website. The photos are important, not the camera and settings you used.

Same goes for the filenames. I wouldn't show any at all, unless it was a proofing/ordering page. Definitely wouldn't show long messy filenames.

The "Essays" link at the bottom of each page, seems to go to an About page. When I scroll down and then back up, the page goes a bit mental. The menu bar is repeated in a stack about 15 times across the middle of the page and only clears when the picture in the slideshow changes.

EDIT to add: This is using Chrome on my iMac (OSx 10.6.8)

Then the usual copywriting issues, "gallerys" isn't a word, plus a few (OK, quite a lot) more grammatical oddities around the site.

I'm sure with a few tweaks and bit of tidying up, it will look very clean though.

Having taken a bit of a better look and drilled into the galleries I would agree with the previous comment about exif and filenames.

I will also add that after going through the 15 pages of lady of the lake that it would be much better if the story was in the correct order and that you just kept to the best images to a max of three pages if possible.

Thanks all for taking time to have a look and give me feedback, all great points and i'm happy the overall design is going down well. I'm thinking working on stuff like this when your overtired and its late is not a great ideal lol. ok on whith the points raised.

This is becuse the galleys are "wrapped" into the site, i use koken for the galleries because i can export direct from lightroom. I agree the scroller is tosh, i inted to eradicate it this evening!

I quite liked it, but more for me than anything else. Ill remove it as it does not help the client much :)

Again agreed, will remove.

this shouldn't be there, well spotted

Agreed, i masse exported some images to populate the site, the need removing and the 3 pages is a great idea
