Now is a very good time to buy christmas cards and wrapping paper if you have the little space to store them. Give it a week or 2 and christmas puds etc will be tuppence ha'penny per ton...

Ever since I was a kid my mum used to make an extra Xmas pud which we had with Easter dinner. Although my good wife buys ours (she hasn't made her own Xmas pud for a few years now due to having kids, shes going to start making them again next Xmas), she has carried on mums tradition so we also have one with Easter dinner. :D

Talking about Christmas puddings we have 3 in the freezer for later in the year all home made just before christmas. Also Mince meet for mince pies made ready for next year.

Someone told me once they are also nice sliced and fried.
I've never tried that though.
 
They are delicious recooked! Gently fried in butter. I would warn you that you'll end up with a body like mine but it's too late!!! :D
