I sold this guy my Sony PSP and he got it today and is claiming that there is a scratch and lots of smudges on the screen, and all the menus are in japanese
WTF??

I have pictures to prove the screen is immaculate and the menus are in english, taken on the day the listing was made (thank god for time stamps), I even offered to replace the screen for the guy free of charge but he's having none of it and has opened a dispute with paypal thus paypal have basically 'temporarily withheld' £83 from my account!
What an absolute idiot! he's inventing faults because he regrets his purchase and is now nitpicking to try and get me to give him a refund. Well sir I will not yield and thou shall not get refund - I shall take the dispute up with paypal and and prove to them that you are a liar!! :annoyed:

I was all lined up to buy smiffy's Tamron 55-200 (smiffy may recognise the above text from the PM I just sent him ;)) and I can't now coz I need that £83 :(
 
Or, perhaps the one he's complaining about isn't the one he bought off you? Did you security mark yours in any way?

I know, paypal? more like paypoo. I feel like buying something that a seller lists as being sent first class non recorded, claiming I never received it and getting the money back via paypal - anyone can do it, what a joke

Au contaire, I reckon your chances are good with timestamp photos. Sounds like a chancer to me. Having their address is always a bonus of course:)

My god not again ...... I sold a fuji S1 pro with a broken battery door and it stated in the ad it was broken so sold as seen no returns

Paypal in all their wisdom decided against me (after i posted the original listing to them with the words underlined and highlighted AND TIME STAMPED) so I lodged a complaint to Luxemburg and all I got was pay the man his money back

So after a few mins thinking I did ....guess what happened next

Because someone had complained my account was frozen with over a thousand pound in it for 3 MONTHS 1 WEEK did i get any interest .....no I had to beg to get my account re-instated and then I was back to only being able to trade up to £50 without having to go through a bl00dy court in another country to prove I am me but after 12 months Its now ok so


You will not win just hand back the cash and re sell it and dont argue with paypal they are the biggest crooks on the www and you cannot win


P.S forgot to say please do not argue with them I tried through a free American lawyer and he also told me paypal have frozen accounts dating from 2003 all because the person is fighting the case .... BRUSSELS BEUROCRATS WANT A SMAK
