Yes
Who's off out in the snow in the morning then? I might try and make myself get up nice and early to get a few shots :D

Me. I'm got to go into work tomorrow. :bang:
*wanders off humming Slip Slidin' Away*

We haven't even got any yet.

make myself get up nice and early to get a few shots :D

......and use my photography as a cover for what I really want to get up early for............To make a snowman:D :D :D

OK I admit, that would be my plan!:p

I am off pre-dawn, I need some snowy shots for next years calendars :( would rather stay in bed.

I have a nice drive to Coventry at 7am....dont think that will be taking place, good old BMW's and their rear wheel drive :(

Well, I was going to go clay pigeon shooting in the morning but it's been cancelled because of the snow - and it's only about 4" deep:(

Slightly annoying because we all have 4WD's - need them to get there without snow.

Supposed to be driving up to the Fens in the morning....hmmmm...

Got plenty here so far  Might go out tomorrow, but I would rather spend my only day off having a lie in ;)

Why on earth can snow affect CPS or were you going to be doing the rabbit thingy's...... i.e. clays close to the ground.........

It doesn't. I was shooting in the snow today. The difference today was perhaps twofold
1. Today's shoot is run on a profit making basis, tomorrow's cancelled shoot is a non-profit making club, with the traps set up by unpaid volunteers.
2. Today's shoot was set up before the snow started, tomorrow's shoot would have been set up in the snow (moving heavy traps and a lot of boxes of heavy clays) around in the cold wet snow.

No snow at sunny Loch Lomond.

I will give you the GWP of the world at 10,000,000,000 to 1 that the sun was not shining anywhere in scotland at the time of your post.

wusses

Doesn't look like I'll be getting up so early now

Just finished with my girlfriend :o Oh dear

Its still coming down in North London. Traffic should be fun tomorrow!

Still snow on the ground and lots of fog. Just dropped the OH at work and I'm looking after the kids. No snow shots for me today.

Got quite a bit here, took this before clearing a path to the car, now I'm k*******d.

EDIT : This is in Basildon by the way.

Just had to go out in it, don't mind driving in the snow but I just wish the bloody ejits in 4WD would learn how to drive them.
Nearly been forced off the road because they think they can drive down the centre, and I will go onto the verges :bang::bang:
The only vehicle I have seen in a hedge is ......................................a discovery, yes they will go in these conditions but they also have problems stopping, especially as most of them rround here are driven for show and have normal tyres on them :bang::bang:

Sue got back this morning and said pretty much the same thing. It seems there are a lot of people who think that, because they have a 4x4, they can just drive as they would in the dry!

Did about 80 miles this morning and very few cars about and the one or two driving like idiots but generally not too bad up here, deep snow but they seem to have got it sorted for clearing it in most places these days....saying that some of the footpaths in Otley were impossible to walk down as they had gritted them but they are now just floating blocks of compacted snow...the un-touched snow was fine! ah well....I got some ok shots so I am happy :p

Well, I'm at work.
My little car (who had five new tyres yesterday  ), could get out of the car park and up the hill to the road without a problem.
My colleague however... :shake:

He got out of the car park with a good push, and once on the hill, alternated between wheel spinning and sliding backwards 'til he reached the bottom. :help:
We had to dig, salt, and brush two tracks for him to drive up. It took both of us a couple of hours. He didn't want to call the AA in case they sent a van and it got stuck too.

You can see my car on the far right, in the car park. He started out next to her...

What's the difference between travellers and snow?
No-one wants the travellers to settle.

Yup. We were out in force in the grounds today. Got a lot of results of what happens when you put a load of students in a halls of residence with massive grounds together with snow, and shove a photographer in the middle of them.

Just 1 for now :)

Snowed for a couple of hours here in South London/Surrey last night {The 4th}!
Snapped quite a few shots on the little point & shoot but nothing spectacular.
