What is the best way to take pics of snow?
Preset or Manual settings?

Snow will play havoc with any sort of auto setting so manual is the way to go.

How about trying in aperture and dialling in say 1 stop of exposure ??

I was reading an article about this the other day. Very light subjects said dial in positive exposure compensation and for dark or black subjects dial in negative exposure compensation to get the best results.
