SNOW

Mornin' from a fine and sunny Folkestone. Just got back from a push bike ride and have frosty fingers! There was a bit of frost and ice about at 8 am.
It's 10.30 am as I type and at 3.5 C, I've just seen the local would-be gangsta's walking around with their pants pulled up. That's how cold it is feeling.

No snow here, but the first real frost of the winter.

Here's hoping it's as bad as it gets. I'd love a mild winter this year....... PLEASE!!! :)

Blue skies and sunny here, if a bit chilly.

The only way is ESSEX! ;-)

Blue sky and freezing here - with a nice covering of snow. Perfect !

We have had even more snow during the night, very heavy, lying deep.:(

And just a handful of miles away in Troon we have.....nothing. Just wet here although the sun is shining at the moment. :cuckoo:

As much as I love Troon the fact we have our own wee micro climate due to being stuck between hills and the sea, really puts a dampener on those who like snow. We had a slight covering last year when the whole country was covered by feet of the stuff for weeks. And I mean maybe 3-4" tops for a couple of days

Oh well, off to Kilmarnock this afternoon for my son's orthodontist appointment so that'll have to be my snow fix for now.

We had a very thin and patchy sliver of snow in Manchester this morning!

We got a good inch overnight and its supposedly been snowing on and off all day so far. Its looking fairly clear on the Ingleborough Webcam just at this minute in time though.

Nope, nothing here - at 6:45am this morning my car thermometer was reading 3 degrees but no frost, and when I left work this evening at 4:45pm it was 7 degrees. Been walking around outside between buildings at work in just my shirt sleeves and it didn't feel cold.

However, I have just shut the lounge window and considering putting the heating on as I am feeling cold (though I am also very tired, and I feel cold when I am tired).

I am in the South East.

Snow's hammering down just now ,interesting drive to work tomorrow dodging all the ****in idiots who think they're invincible .

Been up through the Peak District today, it looked lovely under a blanket of snow. Annoyingly, the Woodhead Pass and Snake Pass were both closed. I wonder just how bad it could have been up there, bearing in mind all back roads I took in getting to Sheffield were clear as a bell.. and some not all that different in height to the peaks of both those roads.

That is because you live in a "camp" part of the Isles..............:D

:D

Just a (rain) cloud burst as the sun went down.
Although it did look a tad snowy, its far too warm down here still ;)

Few flurries on Monday, but it didn't really lie. Frosty overnight though, and a bit of ice yesterday morning. Raining heavily and windy now. I hate this sort of weather, but I loathe snow and ice even more.
