Are you allowed to sneeze while driving? You could be be driving with your eyes shut. You could even obscure the view if you had a particularly gooey sneeze.
I've seen plenty of police officers driving whilst they're using mobiles or drinking from a water bottle. It always brasses me off because I know if the roles were ever reversed then I'd be rightly nicked. Mind you, haven't seen anything to beat the white van man driving round a roundabout with a porcelain mug of tea in his hand.

So what is the difference between being stopped in traffic with the handbrake on, having a good blow (pardon the expression!) and pulling over to the side of the road, putting the handbrake on and THEN having a good blow? Technically, you are still in charge of the vehicle, even though it isn't moving.

to 56 MPH to bring them in line wit the EU and of course all the foreign ones over here are restricted ( not)
Yep some of those manoeuvres are a little dodgy I agree,
but if you lose any of that 56mph it takes ages to pick it up again
I suggest you give it a try sometime ( rather like driving a car at around 20mph in top gear only and see how you get along.

you wouldn't believe some of the ****ing stunts that car drivers used to
get up to around me
26,000 litters of motor spirit igniting would create a slight hole somewhere!

Must admit the overtaking can get on my goat at times, particularly when there covering 3 lanes of 4, but having driven them in the past, and driving vans in my current job i can appriecate why it happens. As for the pulling out business, i personally cant say i have ever had to brake for a lorry, its not hard to predict when a lorry will want to move out, but i suppose again that comes from having experiance at drving heavy goods, and heavy vans.
Some are still at 55mph to are they not? which doesnt help matters either.
As for the ticket, well
even if he was driving it would still be surely having a bogey hanging from your noise is far more distracting when you driving.

If blowing your nose whilst sat in traffic with the handbrake on is a problem howcome it is OK to stop at a road toll and stick your hand out of the window to give money to the attendant and receive change.
