hi everyone, at the moment i have a sony a300 which is very large and not ideal, as i get around on my motorcycle taking photos and travelling.
im looking to upgrade to a more modern camera (with video recording) but i want something nice and compact as this sony takes up my whole top box lol.
i want the versatility of a dslr, i already sold a nikon p100 as i wanted a dslr.
any ideas on a good compact dslr and lenses 50-250mm ??? is this a versatile lens ? many thanks pete
 
have you looked at something like an A33/A35 as they are smaller than a conventional DSLR, have video incl. acceptable AF & would let you use any other Alpha mount lenses that you may have?
Failing that you are looking at NEX or micro 4/3 compact system cameras.
 
Autofocus speed of a DSLR?
Decent RAW dynamic range up to ISO 1600?
Smaller than a Canon G12?
Comes with two Leica-small lenses covering 28-300mm?
Takes an 810mm f/4 at full AF speed for ultra telephoto?
Video with the trimmings?


There is such a camera, but it's not yet widely used or appreciated. The Nikon V1.
