Small Tripod

Has anyone used or got this little one ?

ERRR! That's not a tripod. It's a monopod.

I have a monopod Graham - I found it next to useless for birds or insects ..

I have gone through a few "lightweight" tripods for travel and Dragons with 300mm + lens - the head is quite important - the Redged TSC 427K is not bad, but I ended up "splashing" the dosh and bought a Gitzo Mountaineer which is marvellous ..... almost as good as my big Gitzo CF tripod ....... unfortunately they are not cheap
