Hi All,

I've been asked to shoot some pictures for a friend that owns a jewelry and nic nacs shop.

I got myself a white tent, and pointed my Elinchroms into each side, but found that all a bit overwhelming.

I think I am looking for something a bit more subtle, almost like 12v domestic halogens on dimmers, which I thought of knocking up myself. I just wondered if there was any kit out there that might be more suitable for the job I have to do.

Look forward to hearing your ideas.

Cheers,

Steve.

Don't quite understand why you want to go from good quality flash lighting to poor quality continous - want to post an image that you are not happy with? Light tents always tend to deliver bland flat lighting, so perhaps you could try lighting without the tent - softbox overhead, refelctor with grid to the side, bounce reflector and black flag for effect, or such like.
