Good evening everyone.

Going to Glastonbury next week so I want to get a camera to capture some of the moments and memorys. Dont want to take the D90 so could someone reccomend a cheapish camera?

Im not looking to spend more than £50 on this really, so may even go down the disposable route in the end.

Cheers for any suggestions.

You may want to consider getting something that uses normal AA batteries so you can take a ton and/or buy more - there aren't many places to recharge batteries in a field! Other than that, budget digital cameras are all much of a muchness TBH.

Go second hand or if you decide to go with disposables get an old second hand film slr like an OM10 will cost you peanuts, produce better photo's than a disposable and you can always sell it after for the same money you paid!

Could get something that doesn't take batteries at all like an Olympus Trip 35 - might be fun.

Otherwise a secondhand Ixus maybe?

Excellent idea. My OM-10 produces some cracking pics and cost £19.99 with a Zuiko 50mm f1.8 lens.

Im liking the sound of a film camera, any ideas on where to get one?

I havent used film since college

You could have a look in the classifieds in here I believe Yardbent has a minty Nikon EM with a 50mm lens for sale and if you buy it it will stop me from lusting after it and getting in trouble from the wife (again). :D

Hmmm tempting but a little bit more than I wanted to pay.

Does this produce good results do you know?

Apparently one of the best in its price range cameras and definitely one of the best lenses ever. I suspect that on evil bay the lens alone would go for more than Johns selling both for.

If its too much have a look at Olympus OM-10 and a zuiko lens (as Alex suggested) great combination and produces excellent results.

I have a compact Nikon Coolpix 5200 in the For Sale section that might do the job! HERE
