Hi, my Canon S95 which I used to shoot the odd video now and then has just went kaput. I'm looking for something similar to replace it but I would like something where we could alter the exposure/ focus point independently. I've just downloaded the instruction manual of a Sony RX100 which would seeem an ideal replacement but that seems to indicate no input of any settings available. Anyone know of a small form camera that can shoot video at 1080 but allows exp comp/flexible focus point? Thanks.

There are several rx100 models I have version 3 and it does allow separate focus and exposure control. It’s a great small camera.

Not sure what you mean here you have full manual or can set exposure comp letting it work that out using auto ISO or one of the other settings left on Auto.
I'm not sure when inbuilt ND was first included it's on my rx100v and pretty sure it's on iv if not iii - well worth having.
The problem with those earlier ones is no mic input, and to be honest colours can be a bit *sony*.
For video the ZV-1 has colours closer to A7Siii and has a significantly better AF than the RX100 versions of similar price.
You have most of the (video) Picture Profiles such as SLG and HLGs same as bigger Sonys it is only missing Cine4 for some reason.
