No they're not good deals.. look carefully...

I knew the VAT was added later -still a good price - but the grey market stuff was of greater concern at the time as us the lack of formal UK presence. I'll check them out, I have a lot of tax and forensic accounting colleagues.

Go for the Digital Depot in Stevenage or their web site- knowledgable staff and great service (that's my experience when I've bought from them on a few occasions in the past anyway).
Plus, if you are serious about spending cash, they'll usually do you a good deal which chains like Jessops and Calumet won't.

..maybe there should be a sticky in this section for 'the good guys' and 'the bad guys'? Regardless of whether there's one in the trader section, it'd stop a number of posts here asking for the same [but useful] info we've gathered as a forum-full of gear purchasers?
Even if the sticky points to the trader subforum, it'd help people avoid the scammers out there, and point them toward the proper channels.
