Hello all :) i would very much like to make some slideshows with some photos of mine, to music and preferably convertable to an avi file or similar

does anyone have any groovy suggestions? I am using Flash but i guessed there would be more suitable software out there for this task :) xx
 
Proshow Gold seems to be the favorite one!
 
Proshow is excellent but they don't do Mac........
 
Hi,
I've used PSG for a wee while now, its easy to use and can be fun.
Its the only program I've used so can't compare directly, It does what I wanted so I've sort of stuck with it.
Heres some shows I uploaded to "photodex".

The version I use has the limitation of only being able to upload your shows onto Photodex, but I understand later versions can be uploaded to youtube etc.

i have tried loads of the slideshow software, my mrs likes making slideshows for the grandkids :|
best of the bunch is Proshow gold, easy to use but has some nifty features usually only found in more expensive programs.
more expensive but very feature rich and consequently a steeper learning curve is Sony Vegas Movie Studio
