Can anyone recommend a good programme for putting together a slideshow presentation?

I have seen Pro Show Gold, anyone used it? if so what did you think?

Are there any good/better alternatives

Thanks in advance

Google suggested the Mac version of movie maker is iMovie, and should already be on there.

I use Lightroom, but I have also seen iMovie & Final Cut put to good use for slideshows.

I'm also a Mac user and in the past I've used Final Cut Pro which is of course very versatile. However recently i was introduced to Boinx Fotomagico. Its incredibly simple to use and allows me to produce top quality results much more efficiently.

Hello,

Please try WnSoft PicturesToExe Deluxe for PC - www.wnsoft.com/picturestoexe/#view
This software produces slideshows for PC and Mac, also DVD, HD video files, YouTube.

There are many slideshow programs, but PicturesToExe has several advantages:

- Instant creation of a slideshow in executable format for PC and Mac, instant preview of a slideshow with full quality and smooth animation.

- Each slide can contain several (or even hundreds) pictures together on one screen with “parent-child” system. And you can set keypoints for complex animation. Apply Pan/Zoom/Rotate and 3D transformations. Also Masks for special effects. Unlimited possibilities for creative people.

- Embedding of video clips into a slideshow. You can mix still images and video clips on the screen (this feature appeared in a new version 7.0 Beta available on WnSoft forum).

- Unsharp mask for sharpness control (since version 7.0 Beta) which works in real time. PicturesToExe the only one slideshow program which has this feature.

One interesting fact. Almost all the audio visual shows (from 12 countries) at the 19th International Audio Visual Festival of the Royal Photographic Society (UK, September 2010) were made using PicturesToExe.

PicturesToExe Deluxe available only for PC, not for Mac, sorry.
