hi
anyone know of any good FREE slideshow software where you can put the pictures in the order you want them rather than how there are in the folder.

If you use CS2, you can make a slideshow in that ( i haven't tried it yet, but there was a tutorial in Digital Photo April)
 
JALbum you can drag the photos round in the folder.

You can always use what you like and number them 1,2,3 etc
 
Try FastStone Image Viewer Steve, CLICKY, it'll do what you want and much more :thumbs:

Ah! didnt realize you meant something to view your shots on your pc.

thought you meant to make a slideshow for the web.... sorry! :|

not to worry janice, my fault, didn't explain proporly. :wave:
 
Powerpoint is great for this, as you can have fancy dissolves and even have your favourite bit of suitable music in the CD player. I never did manage to automate the sync between slide show and music though. :thinking:

Hi Mate, new to the forum. If you have elements 3 or know someone who has there is a good slideshow on that. I use proshow gold, but you have to pay for it. I think its worth the investment though....Ian
