I was messing around with an image in photoshop today and tried using the slice tool. Now whenever I open an image or create a new blank image I have a grid of red lines.
Anyone got any idea how I prevent this from appearing on all my images?

Thanks for the suggestion but it kind of didn't work but it actually did!!
I will explain even though I am going to look like a right idiot.
The reason it didn't is it wasn't slices after all :bonk: I forgot I was also messing with the grid at the same time and when I was in the show menu I noticed that grid was on.
I suppose that's what you get for messing around at silly o'clock in the morning especially when you are in the middle of an ofsted inspection :bang:
Thanks

No probs Dale I thought it looked like a grid but didn't want to say. What I suggested works for all extras. Also, you can reset everything if you set up a different workspace that will load your most used items each time you start PS?

Have look on YouTube for PS workspaces.

Good luck with ofsted, my wife's school has got the LEA auditors in this week so she is manic too!
