Slanket

My wife has a slanket, I'm not sure from where, but it appears to be 100% polyester or nylon. A static generation device. After several static belts, she is now scared of it so much so she isn't using it.

Does anyone have a slanket or similar product made of a nice material that isn't an electrical hazard? I'd like to get her something she'll actually get some use from.

i believe slankets are a female only device, and only a man with no real manlyness would have one. I believe Digital Failure to be such a man.

Got one for my Sister at christmas time, same problem exactly even the dog won't go near it!

I'm not sure but you could always wire it up and connect it to the national grid

I practically live in my slanket and have never had any static shocks. I've had it ages too. Mmm cosy slanket.

I got one from Morrisons, dunno about static but it's lovely n warm!
