Can anyone tell me is it possible to get programmes recorded onto sky hdbox transferred onto discs (mainly Mr Tumble) for the kids if so how can it be done
Bob

you can output to a DVD recorder or anything else that will take a feed from the outputs on the back of the skybox. best bet would be to get a video capture card/adapter and record them to a computer, organise then burn to a DVD from that

you can take the hard drive out and copy the recorded files across to a computer HDD but i believe they are compressed and encoded and cant actually be watched on a computer.

Bob, It can be done if youre prepared to open the box, plug the drive into a pc you can copy the files off onto your pc, they can then be converted to divx or dvd format. I had similar problems with "In the Night Garden". I'll see if i can find the info again
