Sky+ & parental control

Can anyone help. Dan and I have no children so don't need the pin set up on the movie channels, so we have gone into the parental control etc and made sure all the settings are thatg we don't have any restrictions.

However, it's now 8pm and to get to watch a film on Sky Movies Premiere (301), we've had to put our pin number in This is a new one on us, usually, we've only had to put our pin in when it's before 8pm (also annoying)

It's really annoying us now!

Can anyone tell us how to turn it off permanently other than the way you are supposed to?

as I recall form a similar conversation with the clever peeps at sky
you can't turn it off
just set it to something easy to remember

Can you not reset this under the services menu? You can also disable the adult channel listings so you don't have to scroll through that lot when you are in the EPG

We have the same problem with Virgin Media. Anything with swear words or over PG seems to require a PIN number, especially on the 'on demand' channels.

Ah I see......just going to have to put up with it then. We have it set to something easy to remember (for me anyway) but Dan can't remember it. We've changed it this evenign though and now he can....

The old one was our wedding day and month - cheeky git :shrug:
