sky+ box

Hi there,

Have a sky+ HD box (without HD subscription - had it about 3 years now.)

Just now got in, can navigate menus ok, can go down to any channel ok, but when click select to view that channel - nothing happens.

Have switched the whole caboodle off, and rebooted. Same problem. Any ideas anyone?

Try selecting on the box otherwise they have a pretty good troubleshoot on their website.

Check the signal to make sure that there is no issue with the dish.

I think one of the menu option show the signal level.

If this was the case, an error message comes up informing that no signal is being received.

Viewing card issue perhaps? I'd pop it out and put it back in while leaving the box unplugged from the mains for ten minutes or so.

Then get onto sky about a replacement box if it still bust.
