Hi. Has anyone experience of buying from this company? the prices are very good on new lenses. Low enough to seriously consider buying mail order,
For instance they are offering a Tamron 17-50 non VC for £290. This is considerably lower than anyone else i can find.
Your comments would be welcome.
 
i've purchased a few bits from Simply Electronics - never had any problems.

Simply... don't buy anything from them :thumbsdown:
will take years to dispatch your order / refund / etc... :shrug:

I brought a lens for my old Nikon D40 without reading the reviews, I did get my lens, after weeks of waiting and emailing them, with them making excuses as to why it was not dispatched! Recieved the lens a day before I was due to go on holiday! Close call.

I would personally avoid them, and get the extra security from somewhere else :)
 
Ohh glad I saw this, I was going to buy my D5000 from them, but then noticed last night that amazon are doing it for the same price now, so I will be going there to get it. Thanks for the heads up.

Try amazon for the lens prices, they always come up trumps with other things I buy there.
 
i purchased a canon 580exii flashgun from them back in feb when their prices were competetive,it took a bit of badgering them to get the flashgun delivered in 10 days,they claim to despatch in 1 to 2 days,they're no longer competetive,kerso is cheaper and delivers as promised
 
I bought my Ipad from them pre UK release for a reasonable price and delivery took about a week. No issues but the only time i've used them.
