Simple Question right

Im prob being dumb! But I drag files into folder on desktop but when i look inside they are not in order as to file numbers. is there away to do this. Sure its simple but I cant find away to do it! :shrug::bang:

Assuming you're running some flavour of Windows right click inside the folder window and select the option you want from the Sort By menu

Right click in the window, 'choose arrange icons by' then choose 'name'

In the folder, go to View>Details

then click the ''Name'' header on the file name column, it'll sort all into ascending or click again for decending order.

Sorry I forgot I use a Apple mac. But thanks its worked for me. Thanks again everyone who replyed

Click on the button with a little cog on it at the top of the window and you can choose how to keep it all arranged from there.
