The 'kitten' [now 7mths old but will always be referred to as kitten] curling up on my pillow as I am drifting off to sleep and purring with a sound like a Geiger counter.

One that only occurred to me today, driving home from a shoot, sitting on a slip road off the A1 in standing traffic and raining. I opened the car window and next to me the grass verge was packed with michaelmas daisies and a wealth of long grasses and beyond those the hawthorns were in flower - I suddenly felt immensely cheered inspite of the rain and the traffic.

Sand between your toes on a beach, especially if the first time since the previous year

I could probably go on and on if I thought hard about it, but thats probably enough for now ;)

Yeah I can relate to pretty much all of them to some level...an really odd one for me is both coffee and curry, I love the smell but cannot stand the taste :lol: and now for a really odd one...the smell of a diesel starting it always takes me back to the smell of the ferry as it comes in to take us to Ireland...I love Ireland :D

Which in turn reminds me, the smell of sea air!! Just sometimes, if the wind is in the right direction, you actually get it standing by the Thames in the middle of the city, because of course its tidal anyway, but the real pleasure is leaving home, arriving at the seaside and getting out of the car to that smell, preferably without the side order of chips and candyfloss ;)

Oh yeah, my last trip to the coast would be Reculver and that was the first think you smelt was the sea...

Oh, and I nearly forgot about hot cross buns with Cornish Cruncher cheese, mmmmmm:)
 
It (nutella) reminds me if that stuff we had as a kid,
can't remember the name of it, but it was pretty crap.
Tt was some chocolate (substitute) spread.
Has Nutella being going that long? may have been that after all.
