Simon's 52 in 2022

Song - my initial thoughts were 'The Joker', but having looked through your options, the train track for me, because trains ;)
Looking Down - Love the action shot with the Weasel. I may have lead with the statues though, as they are something I've never seen before.
Thanks Tim - the statue's are certainly weird, and an interesting conversation point.
I've never photographed (and rarely seen) a weasel before though, so go quite excited by that

You really have been busy for both themes and captured some really interesting images. Love Mr Weasel...

Week 41 - Rustic

Time is tight (again!) this week, so a quick trip to the local country park to grab some shots that I hope fit the bill. Two of the recreated Cosmeston Medieval Village, and one of a wood sculpture within the park area.

The first is my chosen one, as it's the only one I managed to get with no obviously modern stuff in the frame.

Nice set of pix Simon.

Hubble bubble toil and trouble. Perfect for the theme. All fit the bill, but I like your chosen shot best. Imagine having to cook on that.

Thanks Bee. I think are getting ready for some half term Hallow'een antics there…

Shame the stocks are not in use with some of our politicians (from any party), but you would need so many more.
Chosen shot its the theme well.

Pete

Nice picture, have you ever been put in the blocks.

Good choice for the theme Simon.
Thatched roof and foliage help with the rustic idea.

A nice set and all very rustic. The cauldron adds to the theme too so I'm with you on the chosen image.

Your chosen shot works well, but I can't help thinking I'd have gone for the seconds shot were it not for that damned signboard. There's something pleasing about the layers in the composition.

A wonderful scenic shot Simon.. I agree with Nick about the second one.

Thank you all for your comments!

Week 42 - Precision

Apologies for a quick phone shot this week. Currently in Portugal playing golf so no proper camera, some dodgy Wi-Fi and little time between playing, drinking and eating to do much of anything else! 750C78E4-40C1-4DB4-BBEB-A74C0200E75A.jpeg

Well done for gettting your golf into the theme. Hope you're having a good time.

Nice little 7 or 8 iron and half a dozen putts!!!

I hope to - one day!!!

Never had the time to play golf (and I used to live right next door to Wentworth as a lad), but do have other time wasting hobbies :D

Interesting sign post, nice colours.

Hope you are enjoying your holiday.

Thanks Pete - yes it was all good.
Back now, but off on another holiday tomorrow (family one this time) in the Peak District.
It’s a tough life, but someone has to do it!

This was well hidden. Well spotted.
Shame it has ended up in this location

Very well-spotted. Any idea what it was, a bus or a truck?

Great find there, shame that it has been left that although it shouldn't take much to get that old motor going again! :$
