sim 2000 digital albums

We use sim2000 for digital wedding albums , they look fantastic with a brushed metal or leather cover .

the last 3 out of 4 we have had back, have arrived damaged in some way so have had to go back .
they take around 3/4 weeks to arrive so when they have to go back it adds on another week which is not good when the couple are wanting to see their album . these albums are not cheep . they have always been very sorry and have given compensation without question . we don`t want to have to use anyone else , but we do want to try someone else .

does anyone know of another company that does the same type of album as sim2000 . brushed metal cover / ect .

i have looked on the net and there are plenty that do digital albums but not with the metal covers .

Out of interest, how do you rate the sim2000 products generally? They were on my list of people to see at Focus this year and the quality was okay. I now have a bride who wants a book (with thinner pages) as opposed to an album and from what I recall sim2000 offer this in their portfolio, have you tried it?

cheers for the reply i`ll take a look at them .

i rate sim2000 product 100%, print quality very good , after sales fantastic .

bl**dy courier they use cr*p ! 2 wedding albums have been damaged in transit .
the first one we complained the cover had slight damage . but was just to be used as part of our own portfolio and they gave us 40% of the next album .which was good .
the second that was damaged again in transit was the metal cover , that went back for a new cover .

this one has pages damaged inside small dents on about 10 pages , it is printed on photographic card so they stand out quite a bit .

they are picking it up in the morning and Will have it back in 3 days , and have promised a discount , it is just disappointing . if i say to a couple you will have your album by Friday , i don`t then want to say it has to go back .

her mum also ordered a parent album that is here a ok . but we can`t give her that before the bride . so it all gets held up .

over all though as i say i rate sim2000 very highly .
i went to focus and hope to see them again early next year .

it is worth putting together some work to get some samples from them . we try to put as much together as poss for clients to look at .
there albums do have a wow factor .

just let the bride know , and she was fine about it . we are away next weeks so gave her the choice to have it sent straight to her house . but she said she that she would sooner us check it and be happy with it first .

we have done portraits for them before so they know we won`t let them have anything until it is as close to 100% as it can be .

graphistudio

they look very good and well worth a sample

You might also want to look at Loxley Colour, their Bellissimo range is very good and the customer service is second to none.

we use them for prints . as you say customer service is A1 . that range does look good .

we use point 101 for canvas .
waiting for an email or phone call back from Graphistudio .

do you use photobox for anything , they are so poor compared to others . we just use them for cheap proofs
