Thinking of going on the Friday (lots of track time) are there any better places to take shots and whats the chances of getting in front of those pesky fences or pits?
 
What gear do you have? No chance of getting in front of the fences unless you have media accreditation and think pit walks are saturday and sunday only booked in advance extra $$$ to entrance fee. As for places for photographic opportunities, there are many, but you'll need a long lens for bikes. Try the exit of Copse (down from old start finish staright), Exit of Beckets or inside of Beckets, Stowe Corner, Exit of Vale into Club, Village is ok, but the Complex into Luffield has some really nice action, but I stress 400-500mm for most of these places unless you like cropping into your images.

Thanks for the info, its a 7D and 400 combo so I guess will just about be there?
