My apologies to those of you who already know this, but I was so excited by my discovery today that I near peed myself and thought I'd share it - my discovery that is, not my errr......
Anyway
I've been using Capture NX2 for a few years and love it. I have no need for any other software for what I do.
Except,as I get more into B+W photography I've been wanting to try SFX. Problem is, it has to have PS or Lightroom as the host application. If you try to download the trial version it asks which one you will use.
I did consider getting LR and SFX but just couldn't justify the cost. Oh well :shrug:
I discovered today that you can use Capture NX2 as the host.
As long as you download the LR version of SFX you can open a file in Capture as normal - go to preferences - open with - select SFX - job done.
Then whenever you do file - open with, it opens a tiff in SFX.
