Silver efex pro 2 - windows 8 compatible?

I'm looking to get a little more creative with B&W processing and purchase Nik silver efex pro 2.

The website states minimum requirements with reference to windows xp, vista and 7 with no reference to windows 8.

Does anyone have any experience of running this software under windows 8?

A quick web search hasn't shown up anything to inform.

As it's a Photoshop plug-in, I can only image it will be OK, as Photoshop is fine under Win 8. Is there not a trial version you can test?
