Silver Efex/Lightroom/ 500px

Hi all.

I've just installed Silver Efex Pro: but none of the pictures I've edited with that will upload to 500px. It's really odd: every other picture will export direct from Lightroom or can be uploaded over the web: but these three shots will not upload, continually returning Error 2038 via the web uploader or just failing to upload through LR.

I've tried exporting them to HDD as JPG and then re-importing them to LR again, inc ase it was something to do with the tiff to jpg conversion but no joy.

Anyone had a similar issue with this combo of elements?

Upload to Flickr is fine, btw.

ETA: Done it with another one, and that's fine. So it's literally three photos. This is bizarre. Is there likely to be something in the metadata that's causing problems or something?

Try exporting with the metadata stripped, just a thought it's not file size is it? Is there a limit, tiffs can be large.

I've had the same issue but i have to admit that i never thought that it might be silver effex causing it. However it is a distinct possibility as i use it too and like yourself i never have any trouble uploading to Flickr, just 500px. You're not alone but i'll be keeping an eye on this to see if anyone can give a definite answer.
