I've just bought it in the hope that it's an f1.4 50mm prime lens for my new d90 but the low price tag makes me think it may not be lol.

Quite a good enlarger lens, and a bargain at under a tenner all in! Put a better description with it when you list it and you ought to turn a profit.

If you are looking to turn it into a dedicated macro lens then

will mount it for you.
enlarger lenses make great macros due to the flatness of the optics.
Would be worth giving them a call.
