Yup, and it will be the wrong sort of snow, so don't expect the trains to run.
 
I was just gonna say, we've had nowt, but I look out the window and there it is.......raining salt :|
 
It snowing here in Scunthorpe now and starting to lie
 
we havent got anything at my girlfriends house in stamford, but according to accounts from people it seems to be snowimg all round us
 
Tonight through tues is supposed to be when it all happens

Nothing in Glasgow, but the bit that I'm in hardly ever gets any snow.
 
Apparently snowed here a teeny bit (Hillingdon, London) while I was sleeping this morning, can't see how it's gonna be anything more than that this evening given how relatively cloudless the sky's looking now.
 
I was outside a few hours ago and for what must have been only a few seconds I could just make out tiny snowflakes, nothing else since.

I am hoping they get it wrong this time.

This has so far been one of the coldest winters, bring on the summer!!!.
 
It's a bit stop start here in Sunny Lincolnshire.:)
Snows for 15mins then stops, just about all clears up then starts again :shrug:might be a tad slippery tonight if it freezes
 
15 mins ago it was sunny. Now we have half inch of snow on the ground and it's snowing heavily. Thank crunchy I have tomorrow off work :)
 
This is not looking good.I have to travel to Stansted from Wiltshire via M4, M25 and M11 at3.0am tomorrow morning. :(

Snowed for 3 minutes in Cambridge.

Its all melted now!
 
Had a "white out " about 4pm for around 5 mins, whilst walking the dogs
Its a good job I knew where I was :D

Just a light dusting remains in minus temps. Semi clear skies at the moment
but hatches well and truly batterned down ;)
 
the East Yorkshire coast has had bits and pieces all day, only really settled in place. And we were supposed to be the area that the long range forecasts said were going to get it really bad. No such luck! :(
 
We had quite alot and has settled over in Colchester, been stuck indoors stareing at a sketchbook (got to be in tomorrow) so I keep getting surprises of snow everytime I glance out the window. But the curtains are closed and now I see nothing. BUT ITS SETTLED!!!!!!
And its snowing quite heavy during the night so hopefully I get an extra day to do sketchbooks, and some early morning snow shoots!
 
woo hoo! it's snowing!

I'm so excited ('cos I'm wrapped up indoors), but there are people out in the street having a snowball fight. Easily got 1/2 inch here in Surrey and falling heavily.
Bet I still have to go to work tomorrow though :(
 
Just driven back from my Sisters and it took twice as long due to weather conditions!
 
Spent the last hour having a snowball fight out in the street with the kids. What fun.
 
Will be deffinatley taking piccys tomorrow, good snow fall right now, and hopefully the arts centre is open so I can check the price for this gig in march
 
just got in a short while ago, no snow here, wind dropped and does not seem so cold now!

Been snowing on and off all afternoon in Nottingham.

There's not loads of it, but I'd say 1/2". It's enough to cover the ground, and the street's look beautiful under the light of the streetlights.

Forecast for here is snow until Tuesday night :) Then more on Thursday

Was just like that for me this afternoon in Suffolk. One minute it was bright and sunny and I driving along with the roof down on the car, the next it was a blizzard...

Nothing quite like the british weather. :lol:
 
Just looked out and it is a total white-out here:eek:.
 
A good 2 inches here and still snowing :(
