First post here, although been a daily reader for months, so a big hello to you all.
Right, I'm in need of a little advice here. I would like to buy a Sigma 30mm f1.4 (canon fit) and have found it for £299 new from Misfuds. A very good price considering Jessops are 100 squids more. However, I shall be travelling to Dubai on Wednesday and have heard they sell Sigma's for pretty cheap brand new.
Here is the big question, I've read about how many people have had to send their lenses off to Sigma to get them collaborated with their camera as they often front-focus. So if I'm buying from Dubai, and I bring it back here and find it is front-focusing, will I not be eligible for Sigma to collaborate it for me?
