Sigma 18-50mm f3.5-5.6 DC Lens For Canon Digital SLR Cameras With APS-C Sensors

Anyone know best place to get this camera lens from?

Cheers

I have just gone and purchased a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-3.5 lens for my Canon 400D. I'd go for that rater than the standard kit lens. I went to ajprdys in the end. Got it for £208 inc delivery which was pretty good. Good luck on you lens hunting ;)

Cost is basically issue at moment - buying camera & lens = c£400 - want to keep short term cost down, accepting may upgrade in due course.

Thx for the input anyway!

Personally I would hang on to the kit lens for awhile it can produce some good images, I still have & use mine. and there are some fine images on this forum, produced by this kit lens
Save up a bit and get something you really want as I feel you think you are compromising buying this one?

Issue is I bought body only & therefore need a lens - what should I do?

Ah sorry I miss-read the post I thought you had the kit lens and were about to replace it with the sigma.
The kit lenses are around £50-ish check out flea-bay or a nifty 50 around the same price, or go with the sigma depends on how much you want to spend initially

Put an ad in the wanted page on here. Somebody might have a lens they are not using.
