Hi

Please can someone enlighten with the difference between these 2 lenses. I think the second is older? It works with my 400D but the first seems much sharper.

1. Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG Macro - bought from jessops last month

2. Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG EX Aspherical - inherited, no idea how old

"Aspherical" is Sigma short-hand for "this lens is a dog".
 
Ha Ha!!! so the first is the keeper then? i did use the second for a week before xmas and my hit rate certainly went down a notch. Didn't want to blame the lese but maybe i can now?????? :suspect:
