Sigma EX DC 50-150mm F2.8 APO HSM II For Sony £299??

Yep - good price, but not a mis-price.

Sigma UK are giving UK dealers some really good prices on this lens, and also the 100-300 f/4 as well (which is £499 at Wilkinson, but down to £450 in some places)

The 50-150 is supposed to be excellent.
 
i think its time to sell as much stuff as possible and buy those if they are about next month !
 
Just had a look at some reviews of this lens, and it seems Sigma have some serious quality control issues with this particular lens, particularly the focusing. I think I'll leave it :D

The 100-300mm f/4 is junk in Sony fit as well. These are cheap for a reason I suspect, the 100-300 we had two weeks ago went straight back.

Was OK at f/5.6 but soft at f/4 so seems a bit pointless.
