lens isnt too bad. cheap glass but does the job. used it with a 1000d

i had one for canon when i first started out thought it was ok but when i swiched to nikon not so good maybe it was a bad copy also couldnt hold it steady enough 200 mm up , havent got it anymore .

I had one and handheld at 300mm was difficult to get a clear shot as it needs stopping down for sharpness
Only really performed for me on sunny days

For the money you can't go wrong, but make sure it's the APO version. I had one before the Nikkor 70-300 VR and it gave some pretty good results...

I used one; Awful in all regards. Get used Canon 70-210mm f/3.5-4.5 USM if budget is limited. The lenses are day and night. If money is no issue go for 70-200mm f/4L.

Doubt that would work very well with a NIKON D90

...well regarding the mixed reviews I think i'll ask for the lens for my birthday, will get the APO version though just to give myself the best chance
